With the new year and start of the new decade rolling in and resolutions on everyone’s minds, our ambition at Flourish Trading is to increase our bio-degradable and eco-friendly product ranges wherever possible going forward.
We currently hold a full selection of recycled ribbon in a variety of colours and we sell recycled, bio-degradable kraft paper in both 5 kg and 10 kg rolls, as well as various cellophanes.
Oasis bio floral bricks and foams are also available as an alternative and only fractionally more expensive than the original foam which has clear advantages in the environmental crisis. For 2020, we will also be introducing a recycled glassware range. Glass is 100% recyclable and can be recycled endlessly without loss in quality or purity.
As part of our New Year’s Resolution as well as promoting recyclable and sustainable options and products wherever possible and increasing our range, we will be helping the planet by ensuring we follow best practice with respect to recycling and being as conscientious about waste as possible.

- Start unfriending plastic products
- Waste not want not – reduce, re-use, recycle and upcycle
- Unplug the electronics. Many appliances consume energy even when we’re not using them …
In addition we will be helping to restore forests that have been lost to deforestation. We support the World Land Trust – every £5 donation to the Plant a Tree programme funds the nurturing, planning and protection of one tree that will help restore a forest for wildlife.
