Visual Merchandising Tips for Florists

As a florist or store owner, it’s important to think carefully about how best to display your products. 

As a guide, visual merchandising is an important element to making sure your stock is displayed in the best possible light. Impacting that all important decision making process for the customer and making sure they see it when they enter the store and purchase.

So, herewith our top 3 tips to ensure the product you purchase from Flourish Trading walks off the shelves.

Tip 1 – Utilise your space for visual merchandising

Think carefully about what you have and where you can allow the customer to walk around and engage with the product. If you can use the floor for some products – carefully arranged under a table and create height through stacking other product on the table top this would be one way of making the most out of your space!

Tip 2 – Feature various sizes, colours and multiples of florist products

For visual interest and to show what is available it is best to display variety. Some customers will be drawn to certain colours and not others for example, its best to show a selection of sizes, colours and variations.

Tip 3 – Cross-merchandising

To incorporate different items, such as candles and pots or decorative items alongside the flowers or other items you stock will lift the product off the shelf, provide a point of difference and truly showcase your display and merchandise in a more sophisticated way.
